Wildberries to subsidize sellers with 5 bln rbl for quick delivery

MOSCOW, Feb 2 (PRIME) -- Russian online retailer Wildberries will subsidize businessmen with 5 billion rubles for quick delivery of orders as the remote work regime is widening, the company said on Wednesday in a statement.

“Wildberries will cut its trade commission for the sellers who deliver goods before the deadline. The online retailer’s commission will fall by 0.1% for every saved hour after the order is placed on the marketplace to its delivery to a warehouse,” Wildberries said.

The quicker the seller brings the goods to a logistics hub, the lower the commission will be, while its minimum size will start from 3%.

The model applies to the sales of goods from the seller’s warehouse.
